Правило напишу
если в слове 1-2 слога, то сравнительная степень строиться с окончания er , превосходная the и окончание est, если в слове больше чем 2 слога, то сравнительная строиться more + глагол , превосходная the most+ глагол. В предложении стоит than( чем)  это точно уже сравнительная степень.  Не забываем про правило написания. Если слово заканчивается на y, а перед ней стоит гласная , то мы просто добавляем окончания, а если стоит буква у, а перед ней согласная, то у меняется на i Например . dirty грязный dirtiest грязнее. Стоит согласная букву поменяли!  + Не забываем про глаголы исключения, которые не поддаются правилам. Их список есть в интернете
