Hi. My name is Lena and I'm 17. I'd like to tell you about my summer. This summer was the most interesting for me but at the same time it was very difficult. It all began two years ago when my parents decided to move to another country. First, we applied for the resettlement program. It was supposed to last 3 years, but the conditions changed and we had to move this summer. I thought it was too uncomfortable, because I would go to the11th grade, it would be the last school year. I thought a lot of it. I was also very scared to leave my classmates, friends and teachers, I used to. The date on a train ticket was on June 17 (my favorite number, and I was happy). I was both happy and upset. I was glad I would have time to get to know the city before school. And I was upset because I would not be able to celebrate my birthday with my best friend, Ksenja. I didn’t want to say goodbye to her. The day came. We exchanged parting gifts with Ksenja and embraced. We even cried a little at parting. Two months passed, I celebrated my birthday; I am getting used to new house and to a new place. I love this city. That's how I spent my most unusual summer.
