Dear Alex, In my last letter to you I wrote that I was planning to spend a week in England. Well, I have finally done it! I went on this trip of a lifetime two weeks ago. In fact there were 12 of us - pupils of our school and our teacher of English. Now I can say I have been to London, I have seen its most famous landmarks: the Tower, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the Queen’s London home - Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I took hundreds of pictures (where I was allowed to take them). We watched the world-famous Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. We also went to the British Museum where we saw Egyptian mummies, Greek vases, Roman and Chinese sculptures and many more interesting things. I still feel excited and now I want to go to England once more. I want to see other English cities and towns as well. Would you like to go with me? Yours

Вы намазываете масло и кладёте мясо между двумя ломтиками. Многим иностранцам не нравятся Английские сандвичи. Им больше по душе сандвичи, которые мы зовем роллами. Некоторым иностранцам также не нравится Английский чай. Он очень крепкий. Мы делаем его в чайнике. Англичане пьют много чая.
I do shopping once a month and my favourite shopping centre is «Gorizont». It takes me 3 hours to buy necessary goods. There are a lot of different shops and two department stores : «Ashan» and «Hoff».In the shopping centre «Gorisont» we can visit cinema,cafeteries,information desks. It has a car park. This shopping centre offer free charges such as shopping trolleys and baskets, recreation areas, special facilities for the eldery and disabled.We •can buy clothes, sportswear, footwear,comsetics and perfume,books,hi-fi,toys and many other goods in the shops.At first customers usually look about and they can ask shop assistant for help. Then they choose the right size, model, colour of a thing, try a thing on, find out the price.Finally make a purchase.Customers can pay cash or by credit card.Shop assistants must be polite with customers.Shop assistan asks customer if he can help,helps to choose the right thing,shows where the fitting rooms are,leads to the cash desk,accepts customer`s payment and ,of course,gives customer change,reciept and purchase.In shops,which sell expensive goods,for example furniture or hi-fi,customers can make purchase in credit. There are many big and modern shopping centres in our city, where people can combine shopping with leisure.
