Krasnodar is the administrative center of Krasnodar Krai, and is often called "the capital of Kuban" and the "South capital of Russia". Anniversary (YUMR) — the residential district of the city of Krasnodar. Located in the Western district, in a residential area of Krasnodar. It is one of the new and modern areas of the city, located on the Peninsula formed by the Kuban river. Due to its location, as well as distance from industrial enterprises, it is considered one of the most ecologically clean areas of the city. On the opposite Bank of the Kuban river are fields, and suburban tracts and village Starobinski.The neighborhood was built up with apartment buildings in different periods. Apartments-normal and improved layout. There is practically no individual private housing stock. At present, new houses and complexes are being built. Construction began in the late 1980s and continues to the present. Also announced the creation of a single waterfront, which will link the Christmas Park in the Jubilee area with the Kuban coast in the Central part of the city.
