Friendship is a very important thing in our life. Friendship is about communication, support, sympathy, care etc. Our life would be boring without friends, talks with them, jokes, opinions exchange. If you have a real friend, you can rely on him, and he can rely on you. Friend never betrays, never leaves you in need, he will always listen and help.
I’m happy to have a true friend. His name is Maxim. He’s tall, dark-haired and grey-eyed. He is sixteen and he’s my classmate. Maxim is good at physics, mathematics and other natural sciences. He also has many hobbies, such diving, riding and travelling. He can talk for hours about his adventures and accomplishments. Recently he has been to Egypt for diving in some special spaces, for example, wrecks. I can’t imagine how exciting it was. Maxim said it was an unforgettable experience.
Maxim is a very helpful person and always does his best to help other people. He helps not only to his classmates, friends and relatives, but also to unacquainted people. One time a dog bitten a girl on the street and Maxim helped her to get to the hospital and to visit a doctor. He strives to help everyone and everywhere. I’m proud of him a lot.
We spend a lot of time together with Maxim. We are playing tennis, basketball, football, swimming. Also we like travelling. Recently we went to hiking to Carpathian Mountains. It wasn’t an easy walk, but a rather hard trek! There were many difficulties in this hike, for example, fast-changing weather in mountains, heavy shower, lightning, thunderstorm just to mention a few.
One time, when we climbed to Goverla, the highest Carpathian mountain, some folks from our tourist group were about to give up and to return to the camp. They were too scared by thunderstorm. But Maxim supported them with encouraging words, and as a result our entire group conquered the mountain. When we stood on the top we were so happy! It was difficult but exciting experience. I think that after this travel our friendship with Maxim became even stronger.
Robert's father and elder brother worked on an oil rig.They got up at the same time every day and did the same work every day. Sometimes Robert's father felt sad because he did not see his family for wèeks. He often sent e-mails to his family. He liked watching films.He went to the small cinema on the oil rig and watched a film. He did not like watching movies on television. Robert's brother's name is Dave. He had his own small room on the oil rig. There was a table and a chair on the right of the door and there was a bed along the wall. Dave liked listening to music. He had got an MP3 player and lots of CDs. He often went to the gym and did some exercises. Dave enjoyed texting friends on his mobile phone.
