Hi, Jackie!
I like holidays very much. We celebrate a lot of holidays in Russia: Christmas, New Year's Day, Women's Day, Easter, May Day, Victory Day, Independence Day. Do you celebrate such holidays in Britain? Usually people spend holidays with their families and friends. My favourite holiday is New Year's Day. I like decorating a New Year tree with balls, toys and lights. We put presents and gifts under the New Year tree. We have a special dinner in the evening. When the clock strikes midnight, we make a wish. We have a lot of fun this New Year night!
Do you like New Year's Day? How do you celebrate New Year's Day in Britain?
