1. Which places are popular for tourists in our country?
Our country is the largest in the world. And there are a lot of popular places for tourists here. From the Kamchatka’s thermal hot springs in the Far East of the country, with the largest and clearest lake Baikal in southern Siberia, to the Hermitage State Museum and Grand Peterhof Palace in the western part of the country. But the most popular places to visit are the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square with Saint Basil’s Cathedral.

In the past people used to stay only in hotels and rental apartments. Now there is a number of accommodations people can choose from. Hotels, hostels, guesthouses, rental apartments or private houses.

My family likes to spend our holiday in different places. We already have visited Moscow and St. Peterburg. It is not a problem nowadays to organize a trip and find a place to stay in by yourself online. We often stay in hotels. We also like to rent a private apartment or a house.
