I think there should be no doubt it’s good to feel safe. Humans were always looking for safety. A fire was discovered to keep wild animals away, and in modern world there are weapons to protect people from each other. Today it’s important to feel safe, and people keep inventing new ways to grant it, but the good old bodyguard job stays relevant. I think, it’s a question of utmost importance for public figures to have bodyguards, because there are always some detractors and enemies amongst the fans. It is necessary to be able to trace them and break their plans. Speaking of personal space and the idea that bodyguards invade it — it’s not true.
