Сельское хозяйство является очень важной отраслью экономики для Урала. За короткий срок (когда тепло) нужно получить максимальный результат.

В состав Уральского экономического района входит Башкортостан, Курганская область, Оренбургская область, Пермский край, Свердловская область, Удмурдская республика, Чулябинская область.

Все вместе это 19,5 млн человек - теперь можно представить себе важность сельского хозяйство для этой экономической зоны.

Уральское сельское хозяйство специализируется на выращивании пшеницы, а также картофеля, овощей, льна-долгунца, подсолнечник, и сахарной свеклы. Сельское хозяйство этого региона также специализируется на мясо-молочном животноводстве.

Сельское хозяйство Урала является пригородным типом. То есть все зерновые, такие как яровая пшеница, рожь, овес и животноводство с производством мяса, молока и шерсти происходит в пригороде.

Из всех регионов, входящих в состав Уральской экономической зоны, в сельском хозяйстве наиболее успешны Республика Башкортостан и Оренбургская область.

Животноводство реализуется неравномерно: на севере - молочное скотоводство, птицеводство, юг - это мясо-молочное и мясное животноводство, овцеводство, растет роль свиноводства.

Перед Уралом стоит необходимость повысить урожайность.
