But on the other hand, I heard that not everything is so good in Great Britain. On the Internet I read that in London there is criminality. Streets on suburbs of London are dirty and ugly. But the worst thing in Great Britain is weather. It is raining cats and dogs.
I heard many different things about Great Britain. I don’t know if they are true. I believe that to know more about this country you should visit it.

The name of my friend is Alex. He is very kind and cheerful boy. I have known Alex for five years. Now he is fifteen. When I met my friend first time, he was a small boy with thick dark hair, round face and big brown eyes. Alex always wore the T-shirts with prints of superheroes, jeans and sneakers. His collection of T-shirts was fantastic! His favorite superhero was Spider-Man. He wanted to be resembled with his favorite character of comics, because Spider-Man was brave and strong-willed. But nobody thought that Alex was brave because of his small height. Appearances are deceptive. His character and appearance differed radically. He wasn’t week and cowardly. He always defended his younger sister, helped her in difficult situations. Alex was a superhero for his little sister.
Now Alex is not a small boy. His appearance changed very much. Alex is tall, well-built and handsome in appearance. He has bright eyes, aquiline nose and pointed chin. He doesn’t wear the T-shirts with superheroes anymore, but he likes sneakers and jeans as before. He prefers sporty style in clothes.
I think that Alex resembles his father. And my friend likes that he takes after his dad. He imitates father’s poses and gestures unconsciously. For example, Alex always stands with folded arms just like his father.
To sum up, I want to say that Alex is a good-looking and nice boy. But his appearance is not important for me. I appreciate his positive character traits. Моего друга зовут Алекс.
