В детстве мне очень нравилось, когда мама мне читала о волшебстве, всяких чародеях, феях и волшебных вещах. И поэтому моя любимая книжка — это «Волшебник Изумрудного города». Ее написал Александр Волков.
Мне нравились книги о Волшебной стране за выдумку, с которой они написаны. В них оживают даже неживые предметы. Железный Дровосек ходит и говорит, деревянные солдаты идут на войну. Даже чучело Страшила, набитое соломой, оказывается очень умным и изобретательным.Летучие Обезьяны слушаются владельца Золотой Шапки, а королева мышей является на звук волшебного свистка.
Будучи взрослым я не перестаю любить эту книгу.Иногда мне даже хочется попасть в эту Волшебную страну, потому что она кажется мне настоящей.

Two years ago my favorite book was « The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes» by a well-known great writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. These detective stories were written in 1891 and were firstly published in 1892. They tell us about adventures of a very clever, brave and inimitable detective Sherlock Holmes and his best and true friend doctor John Watson. It is very interesting that Holmes is a person, who really existed. Professor of Edinburgh University mr. Joseph Bell was his prototype. Once Conan Doyle wanted to kill his character, but his fans didn`t like this idea at all, so he wrote more stories about Sherlock Holmes. In my opinion public loved these detective stories because Holmes differed from other detectives, combination of absolutely different qualities made him very timely. I suppose that everyone should read this book, because it is very original, interesting, amusing and exciting. For me it was very easy to read this wonderful book too.
