1!1! Author: Climate change has been in the news for years. But what is it? And how will it affect us? To understand climate change, you first need to know about the greenhouse effect. The Earth gets heat from the sun in the atmosphere; greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide trap this heat and keep it from escaping
back to outer space. Trapping some heat in the atmosphere is a good thing, because it keeps the planet warm enough for us to live. But there`s a problem. People all over the world are adding extra carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. That`s because today we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas to do many of our everyday activities, like driving our cars, using our computers, and heating our homes. All this extra carbon dioxide is trapping more heat in the atmosphere, making the Earth warmer and causing other climate changes, too. The signs of climate change are all around us. Temperatures are getting warmer, giant ice sheets are melting, and the oceans are rising. In many places, flowers are blooming earlier, snow is melting sooner, and birds
aren`t flying as far south for the winter. So why does this matter? Well, if the planet keeps getting warmer, we can expect more powerful storms and more flooding, droughts and heat waves. And these changes can cause additional problems, like the spread of certain diseases, more wildfires, and food and water shortages.
Climate change could put entire ecosystems, like coral reefs, in danger, and many plants and animals could become extinct. The good news is that we can take action! We can put less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere if we generate electricity from clean sources like solar and wind power instead of burning coal,
oil or gas. We can also drive less, use public transportation, and choose cars that go further using less gas. And you can do your part! Reduce your energy use by turning off the lights, the computer, and TV when you`re not using them, and walk or ride your bike to work or school. By making smart choices and working together, we can make a difference.
Task 2.
What have people done to save our planet?

All the rules of the celebration of Easter must begin with the Paschal services. It is very special, different from the usual Church services, very "light" and joyous. In Orthodox churches, usually Easter service begins at midnight, but it is better to come to the temple in advance so as not to be outside — most of the churches in Easter night full.
I always wondered how to celebrate this sacred holiday by all the rules. And here's what I learned The Easter Liturgy all believers always try to commune the Body and blood of Christ. And after end the service, the faithful "days all" - to greet each other with a kiss and the words "Christ is risen!"
When he got home, and sometimes directly in the Church, satisfied with the "Easter feast". During Easter week in all the churches, as a rule, allowed anyone to ring the bells. The celebration of Easter lasts for forty days — as much as Christ was to his disciples after the Resurrection.
On the fortieth day Jesus Christ ascended to God the Father. During the forty days of Easter, especially in the first week — the most solemn — visit each other at home, give painted eggs and cakes, play Easter games.
These traditions of celebrating I really liked, but unfortunately, in my family all of them are supported.
I would like to tell you how this day runs in my family. Every year we have the whole family waiting for Easter look. When you start all the preparations, I get up earlier than usual. We begin all training with what to paint eggs. First brother Eugene run to the forest to collect grass. I don't know how it's called, with a kind of low, greenish and fragrant. We do it and drop in my water for about two hours. Then drop in the resulting solution the eggs and look forward to when they are cooked and will be painted. Carefully take out and spread on a plate. This method of coloring eggs I like the most, because we don't use no chemicals, and use what nature has given.
Closer to the dinner at mom's "perfect" dough, and our family is taken for scones and cakes. Of course, all the work mom does, and Zhenya and sprinkle with ready-made rolls of different culinary decorations and poppy seeds.
All this is happening the day before. But here comes Easter Sunday. We without an alarm clock and get up very early, after washing, sit down to Breakfast. Breakfast begin with the words "Christ is risen!" and respond "truly risen!" And here the fun begins – we begin to "fight" eggs. When the winner in the end is determined, with a big appetite eat the "broken" eggs and all the yummy that mom zagotavlivayut (on this day the mother is trying to on the table was a lot of delicious food).
Easter Sunday really precious for me, because from morning to evening the whole family watch TV together, we play games, in General, have fun.
Yes, we can't observe all the traditions of the Orthodox, but we came up with their traditions. It seems to me that no matter how you spent this day. More importantly, after you have left with only bright and happy feeling!
