How to protect yourself in the streets.
1. Never walk alone late in the evening or late at night.
2. Never speak first to strangers in the streets.
3. If you see strange people - choose another way.
4. Be calm. Don't be nervous. Don't show you are afraid of the stranger.
5. Never brandish any attractive or expensive things to strangers.
6. Tell the parents where and with whom you are going.
7. Follow the traffic rules. Don't take a lift if the driver is a stranger.
8. Avoid having conflicts with drunk people.
9. Never enter the Elevator (lift) with strangers. If you notice suspicious people before you go to the entrance of your house, call the family and ask to meet you. In an emergency, if you are attacked, call for help. Usually people respond faster to cries of "Fire!".

Try to remember as many details as possible about the offender: the conversation, tattoos, scars, clothing, distinguishing features, height, colour of hair or eyes, facial features. After the robbery, be sure to contact the police, report everything that you've managed to remember about the criminal. Hot pursuit has more chances of getting caught.
