When four high-school kids discover an old video game console with a game they've never heard of--Jumanji--they are immediately drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the avatars they chose: gamer Spencer becomes a brawny adventurer (Dwayne Johnson); football jock Fridge loses (in his words) "the top two feet of his body" and becomes an Einstein (Kevin Hart); popular girl Bethany becomes a middle-aged male professor (Jack Black); and wallflower Martha becomes a badass warrior (Karen Gillan). What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji--you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves--or they'll be stuck in the game forever
The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon, carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Today, the Canyon is one mile deep and about 450 kilometres long. The Grand Canyon is one of America’s main tourist attractions, attracting about five million visitors a year. It is so big that you must go there yourself to feel its true size and beauty. For thousands of years, the area has been continuously inhabited by Native Americans who built settlements within the Canyon and its many caves. The native inhabitants of this places Indians- Paiute called this natural wonder Kaibab, which means the mountain that has been put upside down. The Grand Canyon is not the deepest Canyon in the world nor the widest; however, it is known for its visually overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape. It’s interesting that there are different kinds of plants and animals on opposite sides of the Canyon. The south side is dry and desert country. The north side has tall forests. The Canyon looks different at different times of day, and in different seasons and weather. At sunrise and sunset the red, gold, brown, and orange colors of the rocks are especially clear and bright.
