My Hobby Is Swimming
My hobby is swimming and I think it is the best hobby in the world. Swimming is a life skill which everyone should have.
My dad taught me to swim when I was five. It was in the summer when we went to the seaside. Since that time my favourite summer pastime has been swimming in our river or the local swimming pool. In fact I go swimming all year round. In autumn, winter and spring I go to the swimming pool three times a week and these days are the best for me. I have already taken part in a few school swimming competitions and I can say I like races, especially when I win them.
I think I love swimming because it is great to float on the water and feel almost weightless. Besides, it is a great exercise to my body. It makes me fit and healthy. It also helps me to relax and feel free of any problems.

На самом деле я занимаюсь плаванием круглый год. Осенью, зимой и весной я хожу в бассейн три раза в неделю, и эти дни для меня самые лучшие. Я уже участвовал(а) в нескольких школьных соревнованиях по плаванию и могу сказать, что мне нравятся заплывы на скорость, особенно когда я их выигрываю.
Я думаю, что люблю плавать, потому что это классно — держаться на воде и чувствовать себя почти невесомым. Кроме того, это отличное упражнение для моего тела. Оно делает мне поддерживать форму и здоровье. Оно также мне расслабиться и избавиться от всех проблем
