My mom’s name is Maria. She is pretty, young-looking woman with long dark hair and shining grey eyes. My mother works as a secretary in the office, she’s intelligent and she is always dressed in style. She is kind and social person, she is in good mood most time. My mother has a lot of friends and they often visit her. Mom has real talent in cooking. I like to help her in the kitchen.
My father Alex is 38 years old. He’s tall and well-build man with dark eyes and hair. He is a former volleyball player and still is in good shape. He is physical education teacher at school. My father is also a coach of the school volleyball team. Computer is his hobby. He knows everything about modern devices and also he can repair them. My father is calm and friendly person.
My grandparents are not very old. They live not far from us in a private house with a big garden in the yard. They both retired and now spend most of their time in the garden. They are my father’s parents. As for my mother parents they live abroad. Last time I saw them on last year Christmas party. They are kind and cheerful people.

Frankly speaking, Christmas is one of my favourite winter holidays! This year I spent it with my family. My brother was responsible for adornments. My sister was asked to find a great venue. And I was expected to find some new recipes for the unique Christmas dishes. So I started to look for some unusual ideas related to the Christmas celebration. However, it was not so simple as it seemed at first. I must admit, that I got really confused while trying to make it come true. As a result, I had no ideas about Christmas menu at the morning of Christmas Day. Therefore, my mum got completely cross with me! Fortunately, I remembered about my classmade Nick, who was really good at cooking and learning foreign national dishes. He helped me with the Christmas preparation and tought all the unique resepies of some tasty dishes.Another part of the day I spent with my family. The venue and adornments were really inconceivable! We enjoied playing games, watcching TV and telling Christmas stories. All the family approved the Christmas venue, I was so pleased! That certainly was the best Christmas celebration ever:)
At last holidays came! I was very happy! I didn't have to get up early in the morning and run to school. I could stay in the bed till midday. But I didn't want to sleep. There were a lot of things to do. The weather was fine so my friends and I went for a walk every day. It was fun! Then I spent a month in the country where my grandfather and grandmother lived. It was great. I drank milk and ate a lot of tasty food which my granny prepared for me. I have many friends in this village because I go there every holidays. We played football and tennis every day! There is a small river near the forest and we swam when the weather was fine. It was greaat! I liked my holidays very much.

Я пил молоко и ел много вкусной пищи, которую моя бабушка готовила для меня. У меня много друзей в этой деревне, потому что я езжу туда каждые каникулы. Мы даже играли в футбол и теннис! Около леса есть небольшая речка. Мы купались, когда погода была хорошая. Это было здорово! Мне очень понравились мои каникулы.
