I am ... from ... . I study at school in the 8th form. My school is OK but sometimes I find it is a bit boring and tiring because of lots of homework. So I would like to make some changes. If I were a principal of the school I would cancel homework - I think it is wasting time! Then, I would make the breaks between lessons longer. Next, I would also improve the menu in school canteen - most of food is absolutely disgusting. I think students need more salads, fruit, and vegetables. The next step is holidays. Summer holidays are long enough but I would make autumn, winter and spring holidays longer to let pupils to spend more time out or to travel. My favourite school subject is Biology so in my ideal school I would like to have the subject every day. It is a good idea to have more practice and different researches or projects. Sports, Music, Arts and Crafts should be main subjects and the teachers have to be friendly, happy and experienced. So they have to be well paid! In the school of my dream I would also include more excursions and school trips in the schedule. I think it is very important to travel with classmates and to share impressions. Летом у меня в стране обычно жарко, но погода весьма переменная и следовательно идут дожди или бывает пасмурно. Осенью, особенно в сентябре иногда может сохранятся теплая летняя погода которая будет радовать нас т.к. когда тёплая пора уходит то настаёт время слякоти и дождей. Зимой холодно, а также могут быть случаи когда выпадает мало осадков в виде снегов и соответственно зима перестаёт быть зимой. Весной в первые месяца ещё может сохраняться прохладная погода, но потом настаёт пора потепления и ясного неба.

Many teenagers are fans of some rock singers, famous actors, but for me the hero is my granddad. He is rather old now, almost 80. Nevertheless, he looks and acts as an up-to-date person. He is neither tall nor short, more of a medium height, but he is well-built. He always speaks to the point and tries to stay informed of all the current events in the world. He went through the Second World War and had several injuries. He survived the times of real famine and poverty. Growing up in a family of 15 children, he had to share one coat and one pair of shoes with his siblings. The same can be said about food. He had to share his only piece of bread or candy with a great number of starving brothers and sisters. However, they survived and they learned to appreciate every little thing in this world. By the way, my grandfather’s name is Vladimir. He is my mum’s father. He has always been good to me and my younger sister, though we are not his only grandchildren. When we were little, he would take us to the ice-cream booth at the central park and buy as much ice-cream as we wanted. He would also take us to the merry-go-round. All his life he worked at the factory, where he created vehicle parts. Although he has retired long ago, he still does some minor jobs to keep busy. Whenever any of his relatives needs help, he is always there for them. He is a great husband, a wonderful father and the best grandfather in the world.
