Tower of London is one of the major showplaces in the UK. In the moment there is a museum and armouries, the same way there is a number of private apartments, in which reside people occupying high positions in society and staff. White Tower built William the Conqueror in 1078. The tower was erected by way of fortress, royal residence and prison. In addition that it contained armouries, treasury, a zoo, the Royal Mint, State Archives of the United Kingdom, the observatory, as well as carried out executions and torture.
