New Year is a wonderful holiday. It's hard to imagine New Year without a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is decorated with balls, tinsel, small toys and sweets. Home is usually decorated too. Ded Moroz and his granddaughter Snegurochka come to you and give you some gifts which you have wanted all year long! This magic atmosphere is unique! But year by year we get older and older and this wonderful atmosphere disappears. As for me it is still a great holiday. But sometimes I don't decorate my house because I haven't much time. I like New Year very much for it's atmosphere and kindness.

Santi is a little boy. He is eight. He lives in Central Africa and goes to school there. School starts at 7 o'clock, but he goes to school at half past six, because he wants to get a desk near the teacher's table. The pupils play in the playground before classes. Some of them wear school uniform: a write blouse or a shirt and a blue skirt of trousers. When they come into the classroom, many of the girls take off their blouses and skirts, because they are not comfortable in uniform. Before classes they sing one or two sings. The pupils have classes five days a week.
