Петровская набережная является одной из старых улиц Санкт — Петербурга. На ней был построен домик Петра. Это был самый первый город в городе. Позже на том же сете начали строить дома известнейшие личности: М.П. Гагарин, Г.И. Головкин, А.Д. Меньшиков, Н.М. Зотов и многие другие. Но спустя несколько лет было принято решение о том, что эти дома нужно снести, так как центр города переместили на Васильевский остров. На сегодняшний день на Петровской набережной находится первый порт, который был открыт в первые годы существования.
