Pete: Well, a party for a gang of ten-year-olds isn’t my idea of a good time. Are you all wearing costumes? — Ну, вечеринка для банды десятилетних не то, как я себе представляю хорошую вечеринку. На вас на всех костюмы?

Tess: Well, I made a pumpkin pie and toffee apples and the kids are really enjoying them so they’re nearly all gone. — Ну, я сделала тыквенный пирог и печеные яблоки, детям они действительно нравятся, так что их уже почти нет.

Tess: Well, why don’t you come over and help yourself to some toffee apples? The party is nearly over anyway. Then, you can help me clean up! — Хорошо, а почему бы тебе не зайти и самому не взять печеное яблоко?
Pete: I would do anything for a toffee apple! See you in ten minutes. — Я все, что угодно сделаю за печеное яблоко. Увидимся через 10 минут.

Sunday is my favourite day. I usually wake up late and I have a big breakfast. Then I meet my friends. I spend the whole day with them. We play sports and we go to the cinema in the evening. Sometimes we have dinner together. I don’t go to bed too late, because school starts again on Monday. — Воскресенье — мой любимый день. Я обычно просыпаюсь поздно и плотно завтракаю.
