Imagine you are on your grandparent’s farm. Write a letter to your parents. Tell them what you are doing on the farm. Use conjunctions from the list: if, when, where, so, and, or, but, because, before, after
Writing tips:
Say hello to your parents; and how you are;
Tell what you do during the day on the farm;
Tell about animals and vegetables;
Say how grandparents live on the farm;
Say good bye and invite your parents on weekends to visit the farmhouse.
Grandparents’ Farm in Summer
Dear Clare,
Thanks for your letter, it was really a surprise for me. I'm sorry I haven't answered you earlier, but I was really busy with my school work.
What can I say about my family? Well, my family is quite friendly. We usually gather together to celebrate some holidays. It may be three or four times a month. Most of all we like to watch different films and concerts, some sport competitions and to have dinner or lunch together. Also we like walking in the park or spending time near a lake or on the bank of the river. I like our family picnics very much. We always take a lot of photos when we have a rest in the mountains or by the lake. We sometimes arrange our birthday parties in the country.
Well, I hope your Granny is well, isn't she? What can you say about her birthday party? Did you organize it in the way for her to be pleased? What do you usually like to do when you meet altogether? Do you like to have fun?
Well, I finish now because I have to do my homework. So, I hope you write to me soon.
Best wishes,
Denis
