25 декабря британцы празднуют Рождество. Это большой праздник и есть множество Рождественских традиций в Британии.
Каждый год британцы получают подарок от жителей Норвегии - это большое Рождественское дерево. Оно устанавливается на Трафальгарской площади. Центральные лондонские улицы также встречают Рождество (не дословно). Есть также прекрасный каток в центре cepital (возможно, capital?). Много людей приходят насладиться Рождественскими украшениями и покататься на коньках.
До Рождества группы певцов (хоры) выступают на улицах и площадях. Они собирают деньги для благотворительных целей.
Люди обычно украшают свои деревья в канун Рождества - в день Рождества - это время подарков, гостей, желаний и особых блюд. Британский Рождественский ужин состоит их жареной индейки с морковью и картофелем и Рождественский пуддинг.
