Ice skating (Figure skating) is a very popular winter kind of sport. You need just a pair of special shoes to skate. These shoes are called figure skates. In winter you can skate outdoors on frozen lakes or ponds and in summer you can go to a special indoor skating rink. Figure skating is included in the Winter Olympics. I can't say that figure skating is a very dangerous kind of sport. I am fond of figure skating.
