Winter holidays are shorter than summer ones. They begin at the end of December and last about two weeks. It is so nice to have a rest from school.

During winter holidays we celebrate the New Year’s Eve and Christmas. There are New Year parties for children at schools and theatres. Cinemas show children films and cartoons.

It is usually very cold in winter, but frost and snow can’t keep children indoors. It’s so great to go skiing down a hill. Boys like to play hockey on the ice. Many children go to the skating-rinks to skate. Small children play snowballs and make snowmen, or ride on the sledges happily.

When the weather is bad, I stay at home and watch TV. There is always something interesting on during winter holidays. Sometimes my friends come to see me and we play computer games or listen to music. There is also more time for reading, drawing, making model planes and other hobbies.

Holidays pass quickly and soon it’s time to go to school again.

Существует также больше времени для чтения, рисования, изготовления моделей самолетов и других увлечений.

Каникулы проходят быстро и скоро пора идти в школу.

May holidays are among the best. at this time, blossom apricots, lilacs and many others. On the first day of the weekend, I went to the country with my family, we roasted shish kebab and had fun. the rest of the days I walked with friends and prepared for control, did my homework and just relaxed. on the day of victory, I was in the park, at the parade, then I watched the salute. it was fun and interesting. It's a pity that this weekend was not so long, but soon there will be summer holidays and I am sure that I will have time to relax and enjoy nature.

майские праздники являются одними из самых лучших. в это время цветут абрикосы, сирень и многие другие. В первый день выходных я с семьей поехал на природу, мы там жарили шашлык и весело проводили время. в остальные дни я гулял с друзьями и готовился к контрольным, делал уроки и просто отдыхал. в день победы я был в парке, на параде, потом смотрел салют. было весело и интересно. жаль, что эти выходные были не такие долгие, но скоро будут летние выходные и я уверен, что успею отдохнуть и насладите природой.
