National Dendrology Park "Sofiyivka" is one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. The park is located in Ukraine, Cherkasy region, Uman. The Sofiyivka Park was founded in 1796 by the owner of the city of Uman, magnate Stanislav Szczesny Potocki and named after his wife Sofia Witt-Potocki. The military engineer Ludwig Metzel was appointed as the author of the topographical and architectural project and the head of the park's construction.
