When Abby (be) (1) seven years old, she (do, not, like)

practice. Finally, she (stop) (6) taking lessons.
Some of Abby's friends (do, not, quit) (7) their
lessons. They (continue) (8) to play. After much practice, they
(learn) (9) to play very well.
About ten years (pass) (10) before Abby (become) (11) interested in
music or the piano again. After she (graduate) (12) from high school, Abby
(decide) (13) that she (want) (14) to study music in college. She (call)
(15) the lady who (teach) (16) her when she (be) (17) a little girl.
The lady (say) (18) she would teach Abby again.
The lady (need) (19) someone to help her daughter with homework. Abby
(say) (20) she would help with homework in exchange for lessons. Because of
this, the piano lessons (cost) (21) her nothing!
She (work) (22) very hard to catch up. Now she is making good progress.
Soon she will go to college, majoring in music.
I haven't written you for a long time, sorry! Now I'm writing to you, because I wanna tell you how do I spend the New Year.
It's the most favourite holiday of mine! Everything on the streets is covered with thick snow, and also I have winter vacation. On the 29th of Dec. me and my family always decorate the Christmas Tree! It's all in bright lights and fantastic balls and toys. Looks great! Then I'm helping my Mom to cook pasta and a turkey, some salad and fruits, while dad is decorating the house.
On the 31th we gather all together and giving the presents to each other. It's literally the best moment! After having a holiday dinner, we all come out on the streets and watch fireworks in the sky!
